All Saints Brass

All Saints Brass is an exciting Manchester based quintet first formed at the RNCM in 2016. The group fuses an eclectic range of styles, having worked with a wide range of world-class musicians. Highlights thus far include performing two spotlights at the Whitworth Art Gallery and a recital at the Buxton Opera House. The group has also branched out into competitions, their first success coming in 2018 at the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble competition for the most outstanding brass group at the RNCM. All Saints were awarded a place in the biennial St John Smith Square Brass Spectacular, comprising the top brass ensembles from the eight major UK music colleges. This summer, the group competed in the International Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Competition and managed to secure a place in the semi-final as the youngest British group left in the competition. Outside of the quintet, members of the group have begun to freelance with professional orchestras and ensembles around the North West and abroad, including: The Hallé, Opera North, Manchester Camerata, Dutch National Opera, the Bruckner Linz Orchestra, and Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band. The group is currently in the middle of a project to record and perform all of Werner Pirchner’s works for quintet. So follow us on social media to keep up to date with our future concerts.
